Short Bio: U Chicago (1989 BA), UCLA PhD (1993). I am a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society. I have been awarded an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Fellowship, a John S. Guggenheim Fellowship, David and Lucile Packard Fellowship, NSF CAREER Award, Presidential CAREER Award (from President Clinton), NSF Director’s Distinguished Teaching Scholar Award. I am presently the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Mathematics at Emory University, I was an Associate Producer of the film “The Man Who Knew Infinity”.
